My name is Mary Tatoy, and I am the proud founder of Amuma Care Support.
I graduated with a nursing background in the Philippines and have been working in the disability sector in Australia since 2011. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and experience providing complex care for babies, children, young adults, and adults. My skills include supporting people with spinal cord injury, tracheostomy and ventilator care, bowel management, seizure management, mental health, neurodiverse conditions, and the administration of continuous oxygen.
What drives me is my passion for caring and advocating for people with disability. I believe every individual deserves high-quality, personalised support that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life. My commitment is to always put people first and to walk alongside them in their journey.
This journey is deeply personal to me. I carry with me the words my late father once told me:
“Treat those clients in need of your support as if they are part of your own family.”
That principle is at the heart of everything we do at Amuma Care Support.
At Amuma, we are more than just a provider — we are a team built on empathy, understanding, and genuine care. Every participant and their family deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and the right support tailored to their individual needs.
